There were more homes sold in Nottingham in the month of March than there were in February or in March of last year. The Average Sold Price, however, was down both from February's average, a decrease of about $27,000, and also from last year's, about $10,000. The Average Days on Market remained fairly consistent, with an average of 154 days.
We also saw some decreases in price for both the attached and the detached homes. The Attached Average Sold Price was roughly the same as the month before, however was down from 2011 about $13,000. The Detached Average Sold Price had decreased about $86,000 from last month in Feburary, as well as almost $18,000 from March 2011.

Even though these local real estate numbers by zip code give us a lot of information about how our local market is doing, much depends on the inventory sold that month. For example, a single family home's value can vary immensely by square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, updates to the home, etc. Because of such variation, we expect the numbers each month to fluctuate a bit based on the inventory sold in that month.
