The next meeting for the Perry Hall Community Garden is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Nov. 1 at the Rosedale Federal Savings & Loan Association at 9616 Belair Road.

This will be our second meeting. We are looking for additional enthusiastic gardeners. Most of the “digging in the dirt” work will not begin until spring of next year. In the meantime we need to decide on logistical things like how big the plots will be and if plots will all be the same size. We will also make a layout map of the garden at this meeting.

If you would like to be involved in this planning stage, or you are interested in using a plot next spring, now is the time to join in the fun. This is an exciting opportunity to share in coming together as a community.

And yes, we are all tired of politics at this point, let’s leave “liberal” and “conservative” at home and share in community building.
