Through the efforts of Councilman David Marks there has been a generous offer by Rosedale Federal in Perry Hall to provide space for the Perry Hall Community Garden. The details of how the garden will operate are still in the planning stages. If you are interested in participating in this exciting Perry Hall community project please visit our Facebook page: Perry Hall Community Garden to indicate your interest. There will be a face to face planning meeting in the near future. This project will take the effort of many. Please come help us get this project off the ground, and spread the word to your neighbors.

Great idea! I would think some of the apartment dwellers would love a place to work in the dirt.
Sorry for going off subject, but what's going on with the landscaping in front of the elementary school? Looks awful!

With this Community Garden Project I am hoping to initiate, in our community, a renewed spirit of self-sufficiency. A self sufficient person would ask, "How can I help?" We have seen several occasions in the past week where a blog responders has asked, "When is someone going to take care of this." Does anyone else see the value in this attitude?

Gentlemen, I am sorry if I sounded rude with my comment, but I care for an elderly parent, a home and large piece of property by myself. I can't keep up with my own responsibilities.
When that section was lanscaped I would have thought they would have planted less labor intensive plants.
Isn't Baltimore Co. responsible for the upkeep?
