White Marsh Ballet Academy

"The Academy opened it's doors in 1997 to a small group of summer camp students, since then, the school has grown, formed it's own company in residence, and produced dancers who have gone on to the most prestigious college programs in the country.  With small class sizes and personalized instruction, the Academy is able to offer students the positive attention needed to reach their potential in dance as well as all aspects of their lives."

"The Russian method of teaching is taught at the Academy.  An emphasis on proper technique, style and confidence are  priorities at the Academy as opposed to competitions and medals. Classes are offered for children 3 and up as well as adults.  A wide range of dance disciplines are taught at the Academy including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, variations, pas de deux, pointe and choreography development."
