The Imaginative Cinema Society (ICS) - Movie Night

Perry Hall Presbyterian Church, 8848 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD | Get Directions »

The ICS is a Movie Club for lovers of Fantasy, Science Fiction, Mystery, and Horror Films. We are open to anyone who wants to have a good time socializing with other people who have the same interest in movies that you do!

The Imaginative Cinema Society meets the last Saturday night of each month at 5:30 at the Perry Hall Presbyterian Church, located at 8848 Belair Road. Members are asked to bring in movies, and those present vote on which film to watch. After the viewing, we discuss and critique the movie. A short business meeting is held afterwards, followed by a social period, where we discuss genre movies and TV shows that we have seen, upcoming events, and new movies coming to a theater near you! The ICS can help provide access to other organizations that cater to people with our interest in movies. The club will also organize outings to movie theaters and conventions in the area.

Our emphasis is on providing a congenial atmosphere for those who enjoy watching fantasy, science-fiction, mystery, and horror genre movies. If this sounds like your kind of club, then come to a meeting and see what we're all about! If you'd like to join the ICS, annual dues are $25 person, $40 couple & $15 for each added primary membership (prorated).

It also houses local cub scouts, boy scouts, girl scouts, a cinema group, and others. Throughout the year, church leaders coordinate food drives, school supply drives and baby kits, which are sent internationally to enhance infant and maternal health.
