On December 18th an accident occurred early in the morning at the corner of Ebenezer Road and Kilbride Road, close to Perry Hall High School. Thankfully no one was injured during the accident; however it resulted in a downed street light at that corner. For safety purposes the downed street light was removed promptly that same day. Unfortunately, the two Perry Hall High School 50th Anniversary Banners which were attached to the street light were taken away as well and subsequently the location of the banners became unknown.

A combined communication effort between County Councilman David Marks, Supervisor Greg Carski of the Baltimore County Dept. of Public Works, Supervisor Patricia Hoke of BGE, and Perry Hall High School Alumni Association Board Member Debbie Schillinger resulted in the banners recovery. The banners were returned to Vice Principal Stephen Arnold at Perry Hall High School today. BGE replaced the street light at the corner of Ebenezer Road and Kilbride Road. The two banners, which are owned by Debbie Schillinger who is running for Delegate in District 8, and Jim Piccione of Coldwell Banker have been placed back on the new street light at the original location which again is the corner of Ebenezer Road and Kilbride Road.
