Win Twilight Tickets, Meet a Raven, Feed the Hungry

Find out how here.

We're curious what will bring the bigger crowd to the Timonium ShopRite over the next three days:

A chance to win a private screening of the new Twilight movie?

A meet and greet session with Baltimore Raven Ray Rice?

Or the warm feeling one gets from helping the less fortunate?

ShopRite of Timonium is hosting Mix 106.5's 19th annual Stuff a Bus fundraiser for the Maryland Food Bank. You bring non-perishable food items to the local supermarket, then you get to reap the afformentioned benefits.

"Some of the Maryland Food Bank's most needed items include: peanut butter, oatmeal, pasta, nuts and seeds, canned fish or meat, canned fruits and juices, evaporated milk, infant formula, diapers, and toilet paper," according to a release.

ShopRite is located at 37 W. Aylesbury Road. What are you waiting for?

The Breakdown:

Stop by ShopRite Thursday night between 5 and 8 p.m. and bring (at least) two canned goods with you for a chance to win a pair of tickets to a private opening night screening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt. 2. Attention Twi-Hards: There will only be one entry per person. Bringing 1,000 cans will not bring Edward Cullen any closer to your neck, although scores of families will be grateful.

Check in Friday between 5 and 7 p.m. to meet Baltimore's favorite running back Ray Rice. Mr. Rice will be signing autographs, however "please note that no personal items will be signed and no personal photos will be granted," so says the release.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, watch in amazement as groups of Calvert Hall students put their backs into "stuffing the bus" with the donations collected. You can also meet a Baltimore Blast player and be entered for a chance to win a family four pack of tickets to a Baltimore Blast soccer game.

And finally, we give the last word to Mix 106.5:

According to the 2011 Census, there are more than 530,000 Maryland residents living below the federal poverty level. Mix 106.5 and ShopRite want to bring awareness to these conditions and encourage community members to join in the fight against hunger. By participating in the Mix 106.5 Stuff A Bus food drive, shoppers can support the Maryland Food Bank’s mission to provide food to the area's hungry.
