GET OUT: Outdoor Concerts, Pirates, Run in a Vineyard

Here are a few fun things to do this weekend.

There are plenty of food, drink and music events happening this weekend. 


  • Where/When: The Avenue at White Marsh, 7-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday
  • Why Go: Enjoy this outdoor concert. The Natty Beaux performs on Friday and Nate Myers & The Aces performs on Saturday
  • Pricing: Free


  • Where/When: , 9 p.m. Saturday
  • Why Go: Double Deuce performs acoustic, classic rock. Start the afternoon with the acoustic stylings from 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Pricing: Free  


  • Where/When: , noon-6 p.m. Sunday
  • Why Go: On the menu: steamed crabs, crab soup, corn on the cob, pork BBQ, meatballs, sausage and peppers, mac & cheese, vegetable medley, assorted dips, pasta primavera, cole slaw, potato salad, hot dogs, desserts, beer, soda, iced tea and coffee. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a DJ. Food will be served 1-5 p.m. and a DJ will play 2-6 p.m.
  • Pricing: Tickets $40, children 8-14 $20, under 8 free


  • Where/When: Marshy Point Nature Center, 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday
  • Why Go: Dress like a pirate and learn about Black Beard, Long John Silver and Captain Teach—real or legend
  • Pricing: Free


  • Where/When: Boordy Vineyard, 6-8 p.m. Sunday
  • Why Go: The race entries are full but spectators are welcome! Enjoy wine tasting for a $5 fee
  • Pricing: Free, $5 for wine tasting
