In 2013, Perry Hall Psychic Predicts Growth, Offers Warning

Alice Barrington shared her predictions for the community in the new year and warned of a major challenge by June.

What does 2013 have in store for Perry Hall?

According to Perry Hall tarot card reader Alice Barrington, the community will develop more love and experience a greater sense of growth and togetherness. But watch out for a major challenge before June, she warned.

On the cusp of 2012, Barrington predicted  for the community. Those predictions are ongoing, she said.

"I still feel that things will be improving, but there will be a new and more intense love, a humanitarian love for people," she said.

Population will grow in Perry Hall and across Maryland, she said.

"There's more development coming to the area, driven by some kind of invention or cure, but it's going to help people come to a realization of what's really important," she said.

A major challenge, across the region and possibly nationwide, will likely come before June, "but I think we're going to conquer it," she said.

Barrington added her optimism that the government will focus more on the "everyday people" this year.

Do you think Perry Hall will have a positive 2013? Tell us your predictions in the comments.

I predict that this psychic will continue to make money off of gullible people in 2013. "A major challenge, across the region and possibly nationwide, will likely come before June", Thats like saying there will be some cold days this winter.

I predict perry hall will become overpopulated and be a horrible place to live. Never mind that already happened.
Doug December 28, 2012 at 08:30 pm
Exactly, Gomer!
Tim December 28, 2012 at 08:33 pm
Exactly. Didn't Emily post about this junk last year? Come on Emily, you know better. You're just contributing to the cumulative stupid of the community by giving hacks like this any ink at all - literal or virtual.
Peace, Prosperity, and Growth for 2012. "It's Ongoing" LOL riiiight.
Moe December 28, 2012 at 08:43 pm
Well I've lived here my entire life and when it takes me 20 minutes to get to the mall that is 3 miles away I consider it a bit overpopulated. Everyone has their own opinion but when the schools add trailers because they can't handle the amount of kids that's overpopulated.

No, that's just a tragic example of your local county and state government failing to serve its constituents.
Just like the A/C issue.

Now, now, it's a fun post about prediction for the new year. I've also contacted local officials about what they're looking forward to in the coming year. It's a standard new year's post for a local website. Commenters are welcome to add their insights in the comments section.

The funniest part of all is how Tim's and Emily's comment got help up "Pending Approval" over a psychic! Wanna predict how many more times that will happen?
Kris December 28, 2012 at 09:40 pm
I'm going to look on your things now, Gypsy.
Emily Kimball (Editor) December 28, 2012 at 09:47 pm
FIFA, do you have some pending approval comments that haven't been approved yet? If so, let me know, some sites are slower than others with their comment management. There are none pending right now in Perry Hall.

Fun post. Nothing wrong with it.

They're nice folks also. I bought a house from them. And, anybody you know that is behind in payments and needs to sell, I'm their guy! I've done over 100 short sales so folks can sell and move on!

If this were true, at least we can attribute that to blind ignorance/lack of actual knowledge, being it was in the 1860's and all.
FIFA December 30, 2012 at 02:25 am
You're right, that was wrong. Not much different than GWB praying for what to do? Guess GWB got either bad advice, hard to believe, or wasn't listening, or was listening the Cheney, the one that thought he was god.
That was wrong also, kicking a guy who has been out of office for four years.
Tim December 30, 2012 at 04:04 am
GWB prayed for what to do, because he was utterly incompetent.

I predict a bus from the city will bring an individual with bad intentions to harm someone around White Marsh Mall or the Avenue.
FIFA December 30, 2012 at 02:56 pm
And almost all of the shooting deaths will be via a semi-automatic handgun.
John Doe December 30, 2012 at 03:30 pm
Ms. Alice Barrington - I believe in you.
FIFA December 30, 2012 at 11:30 pm
Out of respect to another poster, I deleted my comment, that said OT, I predict at least two more mass shooting before anything resembling real changes occur. I do not wish this on anyone, but I tend to be a realist.

Until mental disease is taken more seriously, these types of events will continue.
Until parents take their jobs seriously, and stop substituting work for active parenting (money is not a substitute), these types of events will continue to happen. It's just reality. No one person can fix it. Taking away certain subsets of guns will certainly help, but the real issue isn't the gun - it's just a primary contributor to the actual result.

Here's what I was looking for earlier this month.

My sister-in-law actually played with my nephew too Tim. Unlike EVERY OTHER single parent that wasRead More there. However, you can't tie your child to you. They came there to play. Bullies move very quick. When my nephew fell and was visibily scared, not a single parent except for one even noticed. Nobody from the library was in site. You are right that if parents were required to pay attention to their children then there would not be an opportunities for bullies because the parents of those bullies would be watching them also. When the group came from a religious school in Pikesville this is exactly what happened. All the parents stayed with their kids. All other parents, with little exception stayed in a waiting room talking amongst themselves paying little attention to their children. My nephew has been to all kinds of playgrounds and never been attacked by older kids before. Next time, if my nephew is attacked by an older child I will urge my brother to call the police and press charges against the parent. However, irreponsible Storyville need not worry -- won't be back there. Just wish our tax dollars weren't supporting this.
Gregg Roberts April 25, 2013 at 07:09 am
Let me put this in more practical terms. 1. My sister-in-law suggests that the bully seemed about 8Read More years old and probably shouldn't have been left at Storyville to begin with. There is no ID system at Storyville for childs age. 2. The bully caused various kinds of mayhem. Knocking down things, shouting, etc. No one from the library is actually in Storyville so there was no disciplinary action taken such as removing the child. 3. Parents should not view Storyville as a babysitter and not be allowed to congregate in the waiting area, leaving their children to play alone. 4. Items that could be used to cause serious injury should be removed from Storyville. 5. Cameras. If an 8 year old hits a 3 year old at Storyville where parents are suppose to be watching their children, I want proof for a court case. Yes, it's a shame it can't just be a pleasant place to take your kids but it isn't. It is filled with unrully children and uninterested parents. A child SHOULD NEVER leave a library with two bruises across his face EVER.
BobBaft June 19, 2013 at 10:12 am
Sounds like your sister in law needs to grow a brain. If an 8 year old is running around like aRead More maniac, grab your child and GO FIND an employee to wage a complaint and get the kid booted. My daughter is 6 and went a couple weeks ago and was not permitted beyond the gate with the other kids in the group. Just because some ghetto monkey jumped the fence one day, don't give this place a black eye for it.
