My friends and I have been very displeased with Bill Bateman's over the past 8 months or so since they opened. Poor food quality, poor quantity, poor service, poor selection of spirits, poor everything. The 4 of us were even invited back by the manager for a free full course meal. Guess What? It was BAD too! As of today, the survey results show that PH residents would rather spend St. Pat's Day at the senior center or a church rather than go to BB!!! The word is out.

Just to correct the above information. The Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner at Camp Chapel was held on March 10. It will not be held this week. We are, however, pleased to report it was a big success. Nearly sold out of everything!

See, this isn't surprising. Bateman's is mediocre all the way around. There's too many better options around.

Al's comments concerning Batemans is right on the money. We've gone back to patronizing the Waltham Woods shopping center store.

Al/GHC, My family and I have actually had just the opposite experience at Bateman's. I also have a lot of friends that love the place. Granted, the first few months were bad but it seems that they got their act together. It really is awful that you got invited back and they still didn't do a good job. You are right about one thing though, the word is out. We had a group with us their yesterday (spent the whole day there) and we all had a blast!

Michelle/ Al/ GHC, My family and I also have had some great experiences at Bateman's. The staff is very child friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate any request. The food has always been good and we LOVE the outside patio!

I have patronized both the Waltham Woods & Parry Hall locations. I like them both. The bar food we received at Perry Hall was very good and the drink prices are much cheaper than Waltham Woods Rd during happy hour. The bartender on duty came up to us. He asked how we liked the food and asked if he could do anything else. I love their service and have been back many times at Perry Hall and will continue to do so.
