Start the New Year and your science expedition with lowered admission on the first Friday of every month at the Maryland Science Center. Continuing on Friday, January 4, and lasting through March, admission to the permanent exhibit halls, planetarium, and IMAX Theater is discounted to $8 from 5:00–8:00 p.m.
It doesn’t take a mathematician to calculate the savings of this great opportunity, which includes a planetarium presentation at 5:40 p.m., an IMAX film screening at 7:00 p.m. and live science demonstrations throughout the Maryland Science Centers’ three floors of permanent exhibits.
Children under 3 and Maryland Science Center members are admitted to First Fridays free of charge. No advance ticket sales are available.
First Fridays’ hours are 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the following Fridays:

- February 1, 2013
- March 1, 2013
