Women's Cardio/Strength Group Fitness Class

First off - this fitness class is just for women. You do not need to worry about looking pretty for this class ;) It is for women of all ages and fitness levels, and the routines can be done at various “impact” levels depending on your body and joints. All of the music used in the class is uplifting spiritual music with great lyrics! A lot of it would be similar to what you would hear on a radio station such as 95.1 Shine FM, but you will also hear some new things too!

The first 30 minutes of the class is the “cardio” section where we do typical aerobics, some “dance” type moves, and kickboxing. A warm-up and cool-down song are built in. This section will get you sweating and your heart rate up! However, all moves can be done at various “impact” levels depending on your comfort level. The second half of the class is the strength training session. We use handheld weights (3-8lbs) or elastic resistance bands to work our muscles. We also get down on the floor to do some additional exercises, such as abdominal work and pilates-type strength training.

You will strengthen your heart and body, have more energy, and have FUN! Join us anytime - all are welcome!
