BLOG: White Marsh Mall Thanks YOU For Celebrating Our Local Schools!

At White Marsh Mall, our neighbors and community are very important to us, especially our students and their schools.

At White Marsh Mall, our neighbors and community are very important to us, especially our students and their schools. Which is why we invited students and teachers to come to the mall this past weekend and show off their talents as athletes, artists and musicians.  This was all in support of an exciting program called Celebrate Schools and our partnership with DonorsChoose.org. Three area schools- Joppa View Elementary, Fullerton Elementary and Carney Elementary- all turned out hoping for your support and they certainly found plenty!

As you can see form the attached pictures, we had some incredible kids on hand for the event and the crowds were definitely impressed with their skills.

We were all treated to three awesome live performances during the two-day event which showcased cheerleading, a bucket band and a terrific musical performance.

Carney Elementary was able to raise $400 for the school and their PTA organizers brought in another $300! White Marsh Mall was also thrilled to give out 150 $10 DonorsChoose gift cards to help further fund their projects.

The beautiful art displays from Fullerton, Carney and Joppa View Elementary schools will remain on display in the mall until October 28th.

If you would still like to donate, head to our Facebook page and browse the list of current school projects that are in need of funding through DonorsChoose.org.  If you don’t have Facebook and would like to make a donation, you can go to DonorsChoose.org to find a project that speaks to you.

PLUS- we want to help fund these projects faster than ever. To help speed up the process we will match your donation, dollar for dollar! Click here to sign up for The Club and get your matching donation code!
