The Food Court refresh is well underway and amid all of the painting and polishing and remodeling, we also wanted to freshen up the furniture. After many years of use, the old tables and chairs were still in good shape, but it was time for a change.
So last Friday evening, as the mall was winding down, we removed all of the old tables and chairs (2000 in all) and donated them to a local non-profit group. As the old furniture was being taken out, the new sets were put into place. It was a large project, taking the crew into the wee hours of the morning to complete.
When I came in the next day to see how it all looked, I was really impressed! I knew what they would look like on paper, but to see it all in person was really impressive. See the attached pictures for yourself!
In addition, the new furniture includes new booth seating and some railing adornments to help accent the new look. We’ll have another construction post for you soon with some additional details of the work being done and what changes are taking place.
