If there was any question whether summer was officially here or not, all doubts have been answered in the last week! I love summer as much as the next Marylander, but 100 degrees is a little outside my comfort zone, unless I am on a beach with a cold drink in my hand!
If you need to find a cool oasis during this heat wave, White Marsh Mall is a great destination, especially since the interior refresh has taken major steps toward completion. I’ve attached a few pictures so you can see for yourself, but you really do need to check out the Food Court in person to get the full effect. The new lighting sconces are very modern, but my personal favorite are the new outdoor lighting that is planned to replace the outdated “cat tail” lights. While all the lighting looks very nice, it’s also more energy efficient, using less electricity and reducing our carbon footprint.
When you combine the new lighting with the fresh white paint, the entire Food Court looks so much brighter and bigger.
To go along with the updated lighting, paint and overall feel of the Food Court, some of your favorite places to dine are also getting a refresh. Cajun Café and Grill, The Great Cookie, Dairy Queen and G’lato d’Itlaia are all remodeling.
By the end of August, construction will be complete and shortly after that we’ll unveil the all new Boscov’s department store- the newest in Maryland! We’ll also say ‘Bion giorno’ to the newest dining experience at White Marsh Mall, Buca di Beppo. You’ll also notice some retailer updates around our beautifully updated Food Court.
