The builder, Richmond American and developer Chesapeake Realty Partners don’t seem to care about the long time citizens of Perry Hall. The filth that has come out of that site into my swimming pool, onto houses and other personal property is outrageous. After living with this filth for the first few weeks of the project, I had to contact our local County Councilman, David Marks.
After numerous attempts to connect me with the right people, I am still experiencing the same ole song and dance. I have put my faith in the folks from Baltimore County Government, the Director of Development for Chesapeake Realty Partners and have now been handled off to the Builder, Richmond American.
The dirt and other organic materials that seem to blow into my property like being sucked through a vacuum cleaner has had a negative effect on my family’s life. Outdoor parties have had to be cancelled due to the filth and many hours of our labor to clean up all chairs, table and decks have been spent to have family and friends over to enjoy my pool and yard. The cost in chemicals and my labor to keep my in-ground pool clean and useable has consumed our life at times. I fear that permanent damage may be occurring to my pool filter from all the dirt that is filtered daily.
I am so frustrated with the “system” and am tired of being pushed off from person to person and company to company. I was told that I should live with this because it will raise my property value someday, that sounds great if you don’t live across the street and have to deal with this filth every day. The only breaks we get are on rainy days when no work is accomplished. If anyone out there can help me to get someone that cares and has the authority to make a difference, let me know.
