A burglar recently targeted a Kingsville-area horse farm, according to Baltimore County police.
Between 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 7 and 3:32 p.m. on Oct. 8, in the 5100 block of Elder Road, someone entered through the unlocked rear window of a tack room filled with horse riding equipment. Saddles, bridles and other equipment, valued at about $3,000, were stolen, according to Officer Mark Dorsey of the Parkville precinct.
Police have no suspects, but investigators believe the burglar targeted the tack room and was familiar with the equipment. They do not believe the incident is part of a larger trend, Dorsey said.
He urged residents to keep windows and doors locked whenever possible and to report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 911.
