Police are investigating a daytime burglary on Monday in Perry Hall.
Between 9:15 a.m. and 4 p.m., in the unit block of Bangart Avenue, a brick was used to break a glass door on the side of a carport. A bedroom inside the home was ransacked and jewelry boxes were dumped out, but nothing was taken, according to a police report.
The incident was just the latest in Perry Hall's three-month rash of more than two-dozen home burglaries. Most have occurred during the day and many have involved stolen jewelry.
Balog encouraged residents to be vigilant in reporting any suspicious behavior to 911 immediately, including vehicles and people who appear out-of-place in neighborhoods.
