I live very close to Cameo Terr. Is there more to this story then that? I mean was the window not locked? left open? How doe's someone just "get away". I hope they don't do that to my house because I have firearms. And he might not get away so easily from them. What are people thinking these days.... Seriously

We live nearby and was awakened by the big noise of the helicopter. We should definitely let the community do something to prevent that from happening again. It was not the first report from that area, before that, car stolen or tire slash all reported... It is no longer a safe area to live after the economy went down....

Nothing new here. The same old record continues to play over, and over, and over again, in Perry Hall City.

It was my house and yes, unfortunately we were dumb enough to leave the window unlocked. During the summer we open the Windows at night and we forgot to lock that one. The burglar knocked the xmas tree into me as he was leaving. That's how he got away. I have a 30-30 but I had no bullets. My neighbor is a police officer. In that situation you don't have time to think. Some run, some go for it. If I had enough time to analyze the situation I would have grabbed my knife and called my neighbor and this would have been a whole different story. Don't say what you would have done in that situation until you are there. Shoulda, woulda, coulda, blah, blah, blah.

Thank you mole. We now have an alarm and bullets for the gun...and no Christmas tree up! I'm hoping he comes back. They did get skin and hair from the window where I smashed his head into it so hopefully dna will get him. Be sure to lock everything and good luck to you and your family.
