How is it then, that Bel Air stores are getting abused - repeatedly? There should be loads of coverage, combined, accessible to the area. In fact, some nights (according to the WM Capt. Balog) they actually share the same channel.
The store owners need to hire a private security firm and have 24 hr. "ARMED" guards on the premises. There is a bank in the Parkville Shopping Center that has an "ARMED" guard outside 24/7. Do you think that bank will get held up or do you think the robbers will go somewhere else ?????? It's sad that it has to come to this but, if our "LEADERS" in Washington would do their jobs, things would be a little different.
75 dollar fine. I don't care if a person is in the car, and the car is idling. These self righteous idiots do nothing more but cause un-needed congestion and put pedestrians at risk by inhibiting the view of actual drivers navigating the area. It's also no conincidence that most people I see in these cars are fat. Get out and walk, lazy people. It's not hard. The only exception I'd gladly make is for handicapped people - if the spots are used then hey, I'm not going to put them out unfairly. Then again, I'd go look and see if the handicapped spots actually have handicapped people using them. Another d-bag move from people.
