Dawn Drive, 9400 block. Between Sept. 6 and Sept. 12. A homeowner discovered that jewelry and other items—worth a total of about $840—had been stolen. The home was locked and there were no signs of forced entry. Police are investigating possible suspects.

Link Avenue, 3800 block. Between 12 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Sept. 8. A 1995 red Acura Integra with the Maryland tag 045AHK was stolen from the street.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.

Officer Mark Dorsey of the Parkville police precinct asked residents to lock their car doors and not to store spare keys inside of vehicles.

Throughout Baltimore County, car thieves have been breaking into one of a family's vehicles and gaining access to other vehicles through spare keys, Dorsey said.
