A teenage victim that two males—one holding a handgun—stole cash and a cell phone from him in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Blvd. at about 11:20 p.m. on May 17. Several police officers and a helicopter responded that night in search of suspects.

Police later discovered that the victim and alleged suspects—all teenagers—knew each other. Mall video surveillance footage also did not support the victim's claimed location, Brooks said.
