Two Perry Hall home burglaries between Jan. 12 and Jan. 19 remain under investigation, Baltimore County police said.
Between midnight on Jan. 12 and 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 19, in the 4300 block of Piney Park Road, the glass portion of a basement door to a vacant home was broken. The deadbolt, however, prevented anyone from entering the home, a police report shows.
Between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 18, in the 4300 block of Penn Avenue, the glass portion of a basement door was broken and a person entered the home and ransacked rooms. About $1,500 in cash and $800 in jewelry were stolen, according to a police report.
The incidents occurred about 2.5 miles apart, and both involved breaking glass on a basement door. Police said they are investigating any possible connections between the incidents.
They urge residents to report any suspicious people or vehicles in their neighborhoods immediately.
