UPDATE (Oct. 3, 9:30 a.m.)—Police are continuing the investigation into a in Kingsville that killed one and injured another.
Police have not yet issued any charges or citations, said Detective Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County police spokeswoman.
At about 10 a.m., an 85-year-old woman in a blue Cadillac pulled out of Sheradale Drive to make a left turn onto Belair Road. Her vehicle was then struck by a white Honda Civic, said Sgt. David Jansky, a Baltimore County crash team investigator on the scene.
The driver of the blue Cadillac, Anna Lorden, was . The driver of the white Honda Civic, a 30-year-old Essex man, was seriously injured and transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Batton said.
Any possible charges would be referred to Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office, Batton said.
Belair Road was closed following the accident from about 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, between in Perry Hall and Mt. Vista Road in Kingsville.
