Baltimore County Councilman announced his plans to create a Neighbors Committee to discuss issues related to the area surrounding the school.
Marks released the following statement to constituents by email Tuesday morning:
County Councilman David Marks (R-Fifth District) is forming a Perry Hall High School Neighbors Committee that includes residents from the communities closest to the high school. The committee will meet at least twice each year with the high school principal, George Roberts, to discuss issues related to Perry Hall High School.
"Perry Hall High School is one of the most important places in our community, and I want to strengthen the relationship between the school and its neighbors," Marks commented.
Marks is one of those neighbors, living on Kilkenny Circle east of the high school. "I want to thank Principal George Roberts for continuing the outreach which began years ago when I served as President of the Perry Hall Improvement Association."
Membership will be limited primarily to those neighborhoods adjacent to the high school. Residents who live on Ebenezer Road, Perryvale Drive, Jacinth Way, Kilkenny Circle, and Kilkea Court to the north of the school, and Gerst Avenue, Silver Hall Road, and Ratna Court to the south, are particularly encouraged to participate.
Interested residents may contact Councilman Marks by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or 410-887-3384. Residents are asked to respond by Friday, Sept. 23.
