PHOTO OF THE DAY: Honeygo Pedestrian Bridge Greeters

Drivers beeped their horns Wednesday morning for a group of kids on the Honeygo Run Regional Park pedestrian bridge in Perry Hall.

All they had to do was wave.

Two police cars turned on their sirens, an ice cream truck honked loudly and at least another dozen vehicles beeped at a group of children standing on the pedestrian bridge Wednesday morning.

"We like to do it because we get honks, and I get to act like a silly goose," said Layla Fuller. She was joined by her younger sister Emma, her mother and a group of friends at the park.

What are some of your kids' favorite end-of-summer activities? Tell us in the comments.

My kids love to do this on the bridge!!! In fact, I can never get them on the playground at this park because they either want to stand on the bridge to get honked at or ride bikes around the trail. Super cute photo!!!
