Now that rec football and cheerleading is in full practice, and it's getting darker as we pick up our kids from practice at 8.30 pm.—just a reminder to beware of poor lighting as kids and parents cross the streets to get to their cars, since many park in the Perry Hall Square Shopping Center on Ebenezer Road. There is only lighting on one side of the street.
It's a shame that the county does not not consider our kids important enough to put additional lights up on the shopping center side across from the fields.
Remember this, when certain factions of our federal government want to completely slash federal spending, including block grants to states to facilitate some of this. Not that blame shouldn't fall on local government as well. Unfortunately, previous mismanagement has done far greater wrongs, such as building schools with no A/C. This is a great PSA though. Thanks for it. I'll be extra mindful if I drive Ebenzer in the evening hours. Actually, once winter gets here, I'll be driving the part near the middle school several times a week (returning from the Y)
