While my sons attended this day care center, there was a frequent turnover of center directors. Each had her own style of relating to the children and this was difficult on the children as they were disciplined either more or less or for different reasons than the prior director. One director even literally disappeared. One day, she simply did not show up and never did again. Center staff could only offer the excuse that she had "disappeared" and no one knew if she'd return. There was no communication regarding the frequent changes in center directors (either that one was leaving or that a new one was arriving).
