Recognized by Newsweek as one of "America's Best High Schools" in 2010, Perry Hall High School boasts high academic achievement, strong performing arts and athletic programs, a variety of extracurricular activities and heavily involved PTSA, Booster and Alumni organizations. Eighty-five percent of graduating seniors go on to attend college; these college attendees earn an average of 6.7 million dollars in academic scholarships each year. Students, administrators and local residents share an acute sense of school and community pride. The annual homecoming parade, pep rally and football game draw thousands of cheering fans dressed in school colors -- navy, gold and white -- or green, in honor of the school mascot, the Gator.
