Originally founded by German farmers in the 18th century, St. Michael Lutheran Church has provided local religious instruction for more than 150 years. Although the church boasts deep roots among area families, it also welcomes new and investigating members. Its striking stone church tower, gothic style windows, stained glass and extensive cemetery contribute to its sense of constancy and historic significance.
