Ace Hardware featured chainsaw carver Jim Calder on Saturday.

He said he plans to donate a stump carving to Perry Hall Middle School.  "This is where it all started. I grew up in this neck of the woods," Calder said. "Carving has been good to me. I want to give back." Calder's carving was part of the event's entertainment, along with prizes, hot dogs…

I was just commenting to my wife on the way to the soccer field this morning that if they ended up putting one in the Honeygo Village Shopping Center, I wouldn't really be a customer due to my work location. Would hit it once on more weekends then not. If they put one in this shopping center though...I'd be there three mornings a week for sure. Part of why I'm a Bagel Bistro regular is it's on my…   more ›
