When it comes to sports memorabilia, Great Moments at The Avenue at White Marsh lines their walls and shelves with it. But don't expect to simply drop in for a something signed by outgoing Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. As his 17th season draws to a close, all things memorializing the Baltimore legend are flying off the shelves. After pulling off an unlikely win in their NFL divisional playoff game in Denver, Lewis' farewell tour will make at least one more stop: next Sunday at in Foxborough, MA, meeting the New England Patriots with the AFC championship and a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. Thousands gathered for the Christmas parade Saturday morning on the Avenue at White Marsh.
Santa gave his reindeer a rest Saturday morning—the jolly old elf traveled atop a White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company engine through the Avenue at White Marsh. It was the 14th Annual White Marsh Holiday Parade's final attraction, after a steady stream of high school marching bands, community organizations, local businesses, dance troops, police and fire crews and politicians. Community members joined in a holiday kick-off Friday night at the Avenue at White Marsh. Police have arrested an Edgewood woman, who they say became violent after a dispute over a parking spot.
Baltimore County police arrested a woman accused of striking two other women with her vehicle, after a fight over a parking spot at the Avenue at White Marsh on Friday night. Police identified the driver involved as Brandy Tennille Ames, 35, of the unit block of Harr Park Court in Edgewood. She was charged with first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and multiple traffic violations, police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton said Monday afternoon. This is a very safe nice outdoor event that a lot of families attend. No fighting, loud profanity, or flash mobs stealing. Normally Baltimore County Police are walking around and are very visible during the concert. This is a wonderful free way to spend an evening and chill out to great music.
