Halloween Peer Pressure
Halloween is just a few days away and I find myself unsure that my child's costume is age appropriate.
With Halloween festivities just a few days away, I find myself chasing Spider-Man around my kitchen almost daily. While my 3-year-old hasn't quite decided whether he's going to trick-or-treat as Spider-Man or Batman, I keep trying to figure out how my innocent little boy learned of these characters. Even more shocking, while walking through the costume store, he pointed out Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, Iron Man, Transformers and other characters he's never even seen on television before! I finally reached my threshold when he expressed a desire to be "The Situation." Seriously, that was not going to happen. I found myself thinking, why don't mom's make homemade Halloween costumes anymore? If I were making his costume, maybe there wouldn't …
