Private donations and volunteers spur the beautification of Belair and Joppa roads.
Downtown Perry Hall will see several improvements coming to the area in the coming weeks. Officials deemed it a "facelift" in a release, although one could consider the improvements more of a spring cleaning. New banners, a power washing, mulching, further landscaping and a community cleanup round out a series of planned enhancements to the designated commercial revitalization area, the release states. Is Perry Hall's main commercial area looking a little shabby? Do you have ideas for polishing up the community's image? The first meeting to discuss ways to improve and beautify Downtown Perry Hall is planned for 5 p.m. on Jan. 24 in the library of Perry Hall Elementary School, County Councilman David Marks announced Thursday. If the school is closed due to inclement weather, the meeting will be postponed. Marks created a Downtown Perry Hall Beautification Committee earlier this month to focus on the area surrounding Belair, Ebenezer and Joppa roads.
