2 Charged in White Marsh Drug Deal Robbery
Police arrested a Baltimore man and a Phoenix man last week in the 5600 block of Gunpowder Road.
Police arrested two men and charged them with robbing and assaulting another man during an alleged drug deal gone awry last week. A man arranged to purchase illegal drugs in the 5600 block of Gunpowder Road in White Marsh at about 1 a.m. on Feb. 21, according to police. Two men, instead, arrived and beat the victim with a two-foot wooden club, before stealing his cell phone, keys, wallet and wireless headset device, according to a police report. The two men then fled in a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo, according to the report. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested both men shortly after the incident.
