You can now "like" the Baltimore County Police and Fire Departments. County officials announced Monday afternoon that the departments now share a page on Facebook. The page will be used to distribute information from the two departments as well as the county Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. "We know how much people care about police news in their communities," said County Police Chief Jim Johnson, in an emailed statement. "Social media helps us provide information when significant news is breaking. It also helps dispel rumors in an era rumor spreads instantly." Frustrated customers vented on the company's Facebook page.
UPDATE (3 p.m.)—The website appeared to be back up. --- Wells Fargo customers hoping to check their account balances online Tuesday, Sept. 25 received an unpleasant surprise—the website was down. The website SiteDown.Co showed complaints about a website outage coming in around 7:20 a.m. and continued past 2:20 p.m. Several customers complained about the outage on the Wells Fargo Facebook page, prompting an administrator to post the following at about 2:25 p.m.: Hey everyone, sorry about the issues you may be experiencing! Watch the Gators hit the mats during the Parkville Knightmare Invitational.
The Gators rumbled through this weekend's Parkville Knightmare Invitational, ranking fifth out of 14 competing schools. Follow Perry Hall Patch on Facebook and Twitter. The Perry Hall High School Athletic Boosters loaded several videos from the event on YouTube. The following statement was also announced on the group's Facebook page: Congratulations to Zeke Salvo, Jordan Rudy, Shaun Murphy, Sean Taylor, and Pat Clemons for placing in the Parkville Knightmare Invitational over the weekend.
