Police are warning drivers to avoid Ebenezer Road, Joppa Road and Honeygo Boulevard.
The Gator Holiday Classic 5K, sponsored by the Perry Hall High School PTSA, is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at 4601 Ebenezer Rd. But road closures will likely begin even earlier. Find details about the race, including registration, here. Starting as early as 7:45 a.m. and continuing until about 10 a.m., police will close Ebenezer Road, from Fieldchat Road to Honeygo Boulevard, and the southbound lanes of Honeygo Boulevard, from Ebenezer Road to Joppa Road, according to Cpl. Pat Wilhelm, White Marsh precinct traffic supervisor. He urged area residents to prepare accordingly and asked drivers to avoid the area if possible.

The PTSA has planned food, giveaways and random prize drawings after the race. A Great Big Thank You to Running Maryland and Perry Hall PTSA. They did an absolutely fantastic job setting up this run. A big thank you to those companies that sponsered and supplied all the fantastic goodies in the cafeteria before and after the race.I know without them alot of it would not have been possible.
