Christopher Dolon proves you don't need a finely manicured golf course to work on your swing. Dolon, a youth pastor at Hunt Valley Church and a graduate of Perry Hall Christian School, recently brought his club out to the Gunpowder Falls State Park. The outing was part of a mentoring program he is involved in—and he was sure not to leave any golf balls in or around the river, Dolon said. What's your favorite thing to do down by the river? There’s no good argument anymore for not wearing a helmet when you ride a motorcycle. The notion that a human being’s hair flowing in the breeze on the open road represents some sort of romantic freedom pales in comparison to the notion of rattled skulls and squished brains. My son played for the PHHS golf team and never got to use that . The team had to drive long distances to practice on a course. What a waste of our tax money. more ›
