New O's Logo, Uniforms in Time for the Holidays

Patch shares the Orioles new hats and jerseys for you to peruse before the holiday shopping season begins.

The Orioles are turning back the clock in 2012. No, they may not be the powerhouse club that took the field in the late 60s through the 70s. The club has returned to the cartoon bird hat—with a slight twist on the happy bird that perched on the players' lids in the 70s and 80s—and the ball club has added an alternate orange uniform. The team has altered its sleeve patches, too, adding one to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the opening of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. What do you think of the Orioles new hat logo and alternate uniform? TELL US IN THE COMMENTS ...

The manager said he expects between 5,000 and 10,000 shoppers at his store on Nov. 25. Upon completion, the renovated store is expected to feature a produce …

I've purchased a "loud" personal alarm that I carry with me when I'm out and about, alone. And, I no longer carry a handbag. I just put my license, credit card, cell phone, and about $10 cash in my zipped coat pocket.   more ›

Five Creative Christmas Treats

Don't have time to bake? These ideas let you get creative in kitchen when you're short on time.

I have fond memories of baking Christmas cookies with Mom. My hands stained with food coloring and my belly full of cookie dough, we'd sit in our messy kitchen year after year. Somehow, Mom always baked everything from scratch. Now that I'm a mom myself, I want to keep up this family tradition with my son, but I find myself running out of time. Here are a few easy ideas to help you have fun with the kids this week without getting too down and dirty in the kitchen.  A fun 3-D melted snowman cookie you can make with store bough cookie dough—so fun and super simple.  Who said that all holiday treats need to be cookie-based? Here's a fun way to turn cheese rounds into Santa heads.  Bake up some store bought cake mix and turn it into the …
