Motorists headed north on Interstate 95 might find a bit of a detour during the overnight commute next week. All northbound lanes of I-95 will be closed between midnight and 5 a.m. on March 4 through March 7 at the White Marsh exit, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority. The work, to demolish and remove a bridge, is weather pending. Traffic will be detoured onto eastbound White Marsh Boulevard (MD Route 43), to eastbound Philadelphia Road (MD Route 7), to westbound White Marsh Boulevard to Interstate 95. Saturday morning accidents worsened Memorial Day traffic conditions.
UPDATE (12:37 p.m.)—A two-vehicle accident near the MD 43, White Marsh Boulevard exit closed one northbound lane and far-left shoulder along Interstate 95, around 12:20 p.m. Saturday, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation's website on traffic conditions.
