Armed Robbery Outside of Casa Mia's Under Investigation
Three people were robbed after 3 p.m., Monday.
UPDATE (12:30 p.m.)—Police are continuing to investigate yesterday's armed robbery outside of Casa Mia's Restaurant and Carryout, located at 8601 Honeygo Boulevard, said police spokesman Cpl. Michael Hill. Officials have not yet released a detailed description of the suspects, as it may hamper the ongoing investigation, he said. According to police, at 3:05 p.m., Monday, two men—a white male and a black male in their mid-20s—approached three people sitting together in the restaurant's outdoor pavilion. The two men then asked for cigarettes. After none were given, the two men walked away and then immediately walked back, threatening them with knives and demanding money.
