Boughs of holly, towering Christmas trees and dozens of guests filled the Perry Hall Mansion Saturday evening. Long closed to the public, the Historic Perry Hall Mansion preservation organization held its third annual holiday party inside the mansion since 2009. This year's event featured musical performances, food donations and children's activities. Perry Hall Elementary School students sang holiday songs during the annual tree lighting with the Perry Hall Improvement Association.
Held later in the season than in past years, and combined with the school's winter concert, Perry Hall Elementary School hosted its annual tree lighting ceremony Tuesday evening with the Perry Hall Improvement Association. Fifth grade students and kindergartners presented a singing and speaking program. This year, in a change from tradition, after Santa appeared, a Christmas tree was lit inside the school's auditorium rather than outside in the lawn between the school and Belair Road. Dennis M.
