The convenience store and gas station made several donations to area organizations.
It was a chicken-fest Tuesday morning at the new Perry Hall Royal Farms. The ribbon cutting drew several public officials and business leaders to the convenience store and gas station at 9620 Belair Rd. State Sen. Kathy Klausmeier asked attendees to close their eyes and inhale the scent of freshly fried chicken—the chain's most famous offering, offered free of charge on platters inside the store. "Everyone is so excited to have a Royal Farms in Perry Hall," Klausmeier said. County Councilman David Marks also praised the new store for its food and the added competition it brings to the area. Police responded to the Belair Road site on Monday.

Upon the foreman's request, the suspects returned the metal to the site, before leaving the scene, police said. The foreman reported the theft to police, who …

Marks said he has been in contact with David Donato, vice president of the Commercial Division at Continental Realty Corporation, which manages the property slated for the new convenience store. The lot, located in the Brick Bodies Shopping Center along the 9600 block of Belair Road, formerly housed a BP gas station. Marks said the expected 5,000-square-foot Royal Farms will feature at least eight fuel pumps. After breaking ground in July, it could be finished by December 2012, he said. Workers at surrounding businesses speculated back in October 2011 that the BP would be replaced by a Royal Farms, Patch reported. Over …

I agree "Other Tim". I'm glad to see they are so successful and hopefully they will work out all the glitches. I'm sure they had no idea what to expect in their first few weeks of business. We were there twice this week for chicken and didn't wait at all but it was a little past the usual dinner hour - maybe around 7?? I'm sitting here enjoying a cup of their free, delicious coffee. It's free all…   more ›
