Snow in Saturday's Forecast for Perry Hall

Two to four inches of snow may fall in parts of Baltimore County on Dec. 29.

Perry Hall will get another round of snow before the new year begins, according to the National Weather Service. Snow will start falling overnight Friday through late Saturday afternoon in Baltimore County, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Approximately 2 to 4 inches will accumulate, the report said. The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Baltimore-Washington area—including Harford, northern Baltimore, southern Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick counties—from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. A winter weather advisory means that snow-covered roads and limited visibilities may make travel difficult. Snow Cancels Baltimore County After-school, Evening Activities

Officials announced the cancellation due to inclement weather on Wednesday afternoon.

All Baltimore County schools after-school and evening activities are cancelled Wednesday due to inclement weather, according to the schools website. The National Weather Service reports snowfall through the afternoon, accumulating to less than an inch and continuing into the evening with temperatures in the mid-30s. Temperatures are expected to reach the 40s by Thursday with sunshine. Is the cancellation justified or is it an overreaction? Tell us in the comments.
