Gunpowder Elementary Principal Left For 'Personal Reasons'
The position replace Christine Smith at the Perry Hall elementary school remains open, a school official confirmed.
Christine Smith, principal of Gunpowder Elementary in Perry Hall, has left her position for "personal reasons," said Mychael Dickerson, a Baltimore County schools spokesman. Dickerson confirmed that Anissa Brown is serving as the school's interim principal. The system is currently seeking a new principal and the position remains open, he said.
