LETTER: Perry Hall Neighbor's Random Act of Kindness
A Perry Hall resident made a special delivery this week.
Dennis M. Robinson, Jr., president of the Perry Hall Improvement Association, submitted the following as a letter to the editor. People often use the Patch and other online sites to anonymously post complaints, criticisms, etc. regarding a wide range of topics. I am taking this opportunity to tell a story about a random act of kindness. On Sunday afternoon, a stranger knocked on my door. Although we are generally reluctant to open the door if we do not recognize the person, I opened the door. The person standing in our doorway told me that she lives in the same house number on a different street in 21128 and frequently receives mail intended for my address. It is good to hear of the acts of kindness during the Holidays. Although,I only wish that this would continue all year round. Like holding a door open for someone or helping load the groceries in front of the store.
