Agreed ! I have not been back since I found several crab shells in my Chicken stuffed with crab and was dismissed by the waiter. Then got very slow and rude service. There are many very good places to eat that listen to the customers.   more ›

Police: Man Eats, Drinks, Runs From $78 Perry Hall Harp Bill

Police arrested a man who allegedly ran from The Harp in Perry Hall without paying.

The Harp in Perry Hall wasn't about to let a customer get away without paying Tuesday night—police said staffers chased down a man who refused to pay for a large meal. Kenneth Vernon Lee, 24, a Lusby resident, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of theft at about 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, according to Officer Mark Dorsey of the Parkville police precinct. According to police, starting at about 9 p.m., Lee entered The Harp at 8706 Belair Road and began ordering food and drinks. He attempted to pay for the food using credit cards, which were all denied. He then left the restaurant and returned, ordered more food, and attempted to pay with another credit card. Restaurant staffers found that the credit card had been reported stolen. Lee …

Happy Hour: Residents Share Visions for Perry Hall

The Perry Hall Improvement Association held its first-ever happy hour event last week.

The Perry Hall Improvement Association's monthly meetings tend to be fairly quiet—they also generally don't include food or beverages. "We realize that the traditional town hall meeting is not for everybody," said PHIA president Dennis M. Robinson, Jr. This was part of the reason, he said, why the organization sponsored its first-ever happy hour last week at The Harp restaurant in Perry Hall. "We're looking for new ways to help people connect with their neighbors," Robinson said. The crowded event, organized by PHIA volunteers Audrey Burns and Chris Defeo, included new and older members alike. Many spoke about their hopes for the organization and visions for the Perry Hall community. Kelly Sanford, a lifelong Perry Hall resident, said she …
