PHOTOS: Perry Hall Speaks, Honeygo Gets Mowed

Grass in a median strip along Honeygo Boulevard was mowed Tuesday morning.

It's possible that Honeygo Boulevard's median strip would have been mowed Tuesday morning, with or without the passionate response from community members the day before. See the gallery for before and after photos. According to County Councilman David Marks, the area had already been slated for trimming, following complaints from area homeowners' associations to Marks' office last week. Regardless, less than 20 hours after Patch published the article, Grass Too Tall in Perry Hall? (and more than 40 comments later), Baltimore County contractors were seen clipping the turf between Joppa and Belair roads along Honeygo. I totally agree with you. This is an ongoing problem and will they ever come back and routinely keep the area mowed. When you walk along Honeygo Blvd, the weeds are unsightly.   more ›

UPDATE (June 26, 4:50 p.m.)—The grass along Honeygo Boulevard's median strip was mowed by county contractors on Tuesday morning. I live very close to that open space, and did not even know it existed. My suggestion is, if you use it, spend an extra few minutes with your neighbors and cut it yourselves. If you don't use it, let it grow.   more ›
