Readers voted for the best local accounting and tax help practices in Perry Hall.
UPDATE (Noon, April 6)—With Tax Day looming, Patch asked community members about the best places to get tax preparation help. And the winner is ... David-James at 9524 Belair Rd. with 14 votes. Mike Wolf Tax Service at 8441 Belair Rd. came in second with six votes. Since its founding six years years ago, David-James has expanded from two CPAs, David Brulinski and James Hamilton, to a staff of more than 20. The firm focuses on health care accounting and consulting, and provides tax services to government, businesses and individuals. Brulinski attributed the win to the firm's professional services and expert staff. "We have a community based organization—it's a family," he said. "We're really pleased to be part of the Perry Hall community." …

Readers chose their favorite spot for sandwiches in Perry Hall.
UPDATE (2:40 p.m., March 30)—It was one tight race for the maker of Perry Hall's best sandwiches. Nearly 680 readers chimed in to tell us who puts the best stuff between bread in Perry Hall. And the winner is ... Cannella's Italian Deli at 9611 Belair Rd. with 250 votes. Deniro's Pizzeria & Subs at 9653 Belair Rd. came in a close second with 210 votes and Ridgely's Choice at 8615 Ridgelys Choice Dr. showed a strong third place with 156 votes. Let's face it, with all of these great local options, the real winners here are Perry Hall's sandwich lovers. Readers praised Cannella's for its service and flavor. Here's what Patch's Baltimore city and county sites crowned as the best breakfasts in the region.
Throughout the Baltimore region, Patch readers in the city and county voted last week for their favorite breakfasts in town. If you have a few—12, to be exact—mornings to spare, here's a list of what won across Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Readers chose My Cafe in Honeygo Village Center as the best breakfast in town.
UPDATE (Noon, March 2)—In our inaugural "Best Of" contest, more than 460 readers chimed in on the best breakfast in Perry Hall. And the winner is ... My Cafe in Honeygo Village Center—it got 254 votes! Also popular were Double-T Diner with 91 votes, Dunkin' Donuts with 48 votes and The Sunshine Grille with 45 votes. My Cafe owner Glen Spurlock said his customers helped spread the word about the contest on Facebook. They raved about his specialty pancakes in the comments section of the contest and added several four-star reviews to his Patch Places listing.
