Police Search For Suspected Perry Hall Copper Burglar

Police responded to the 8800 block of Dove Drive Friday afternoon.

Witnesses reported a man running from a vacant home with stolen property Friday afternoon in Perry Hall, Baltimore County police said.  At about 2:13 p.m., in the 8800 block of Dove Drive, a man broke into a home through a basement door and cut copper piping to a water heater. The man then ran away with the copper piping along the tree line toward Honeygo Boulevard, according to Julia Hardgrove, a county police spokeswoman.  Witnesses described the man as a white male in his early 20s, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and baggy blue jeans, Hardgrove said. Several patrol officers, a unit of police dogs and a police helicopter responded to the area, she said, but they were unable to locate the suspect.  No further details on the incident …
